It harbours endless white sandy beaches, beautiful pine forests and friendly people, a surfers’ paradise for any level of surfing.
Contis Plage is one of the best spots in the region. Not only there are good quality waves year round, the quaint village of Contis is definitely worth the visit!
Contis, A beach town paradise for surfers.
The warm summer breeze, the sound of the ocean and the sand under your feet make Contis a haven for all surfers alike.
On the southern banks, there is an abundance of room to learn and enjoy surfing, as there are no other surf schools.
Many surfers have settled here, creating an eclectic and cool vibe with their restaurants, bars and surf shops. Live music is common here at sundown (salsa, reggae, ska, rock, blues).
Apart from surfing, you can take a canoe ride down the river or explore the surrounding pine forest on bikes.
Plus : An exceptional cinema
Contis, being one of the coolest towns in the area, has its own Cinema. The Cinema de Contis organises a Short Film Festival every year, « Cinéfete », where a number of French and International actors can be seen.
